Meet Instructor Lori Daugherty:
Lori Daugherty has recently completed her third year at Socrates Academy, but her 15th year in teaching. She has a passion for science and loves to share it with her students. She has taught Chemistry, Physical Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Forensics, Astronomy, Earth Science, and even third grade. She will graduate with her second Master's. This one focuses on education and technology. She is also the proud mother of three and enjoys reading, learning, and plants. Lori's philosophy about teaching is simple," Learning should be fun, it should be creative, and it is often messy!" She follows Niel deGrasse Tyson's lead..."Scientists are kids who never lost their natural childhood curiosity about the world"...and she hopes to encourage as many scientists as possible.
