It’s the squishy, squashy camp that started it all! You and a STEAM Team of friends will learn the science of slime and design your own Slime Factory. You'll open your own Slimetopia Theme Park and fill it with different slimey lands like Under the Sea Slime Land, Mine Slime Land and Once Upon a Slime Land. From butter to bubble; from crunchy to glossy; from fluffy to floamy to every slime in between, we’ve got you and your STEAM Team covered (in slime, that is!). When school is out STEAM is in! Challenge Island Charlotte summer camp program uses an important STEAM-based curriculum to avoid "Summer Brain Drain" and help kids prepare for the grade ahead. Unlike other summer learning programs, Challenge Island takes children on imaginative journeys centered on themes they love. This summer our camps for ages 6-11, will take your child on a STEAMtastic journey through some of our most popular camp destinations.

Summer Camp Cancellation Policy
- If this camp is cancelled by the Town of Matthews prior to the start of the class, participants will receive a 100% refund.

- If this camp is cancelled by the Town of Matthews after it has started, there will be a pro-rated refund minus the number of classes taken.

- If the participant withdraws from the camp more than 2 weeks prior to the beginning of camp, there will be a 100% refund.

- If the participant withdraws from the camp between 7 and 14 days of the beginning of the camp, there will be a 90% refund.

- If the participant withdraws from the camp less than 7 days before the beginning of the camp or after the camp has started, there will be NO REFUND.

- All refunds for participant withdrawals are subject to a $10.00 administrative Fee.
