You and your STEAM Team will engineer a world created just for pets: From Pets Palooza Hotel Day to Having a Ball Day to Give a Dog a Bone Day to Salty Sea Dog Day to a very special Rescue Pets Day. You’ll even get to adopt adorable pretend pets of your own and create habitats to match their needs and personalities! This STEAMtastic camp gets two paws up and is a must for every pet-loving kid!

When school is out STEAM is in! Challenge Island Charlotte summer camp program uses an important STEAM-based curriculum to avoid "Summer Brain Drain" and help kids prepare for the grade ahead. Unlike other summer learning programs, Challenge Island takes children on imaginative journeys centered on themes they love. This summer our camps for ages 6-11, will take your child on a STEAMtastic journey through some of our most popular camp destinations.

Millions of children have experienced the magic of Challenge Island’s award winning camps! Inspired by everything kids love most,including outdoor recess breaks, games and Friyay movies! Our epic camp adventures are vacations in their own right!

Summer Camp Cancellation Policy
- If this camp is cancelled by the Town of Matthews prior to the start of the class, participants will receive a 100% refund.

- If this camp is cancelled by the Town of Matthews after it has started, there will be a pro-rated refund minus the number of classes taken.

- If the participant withdraws from the camp more than 2 weeks prior to the beginning of camp, there will be a 100% refund.

- If the participant withdraws from the camp between 7 and 14 days of the beginning of the camp, there will be a 90% refund.

- If the participant withdraws from the camp less than 7 days before the beginning of the camp or after the camp has started, there will be NO REFUND.

- All refunds for participant withdrawals are subject to a $10.00 administrative Fee.
